Anthony Bliss Website Design

New full time position

I have just recently accepted the position of Full Time Web Design (incorporating Graphic Design and CSS) at the International Web Management company Gforces and I am very enthusiastic towards starting there in October.

The company office resides in a gloriously elegant historic town of Thurnham, in Bearsted, near Maidstone, I look forward to starting, and notably grateful of the opportunity to join such an established, professional company.

Latest Work

Solaglas Glas Solutions - Database DesignRecently I have completed a short database project in MySQL and PHP for the national company known as Solaglas, owned by the international company, Saint-Gobain Glass Solutions. It was a pleasure working with them.

The new system will enable one of the branches to maintain their quotations more efficiently. The database and front end was a design expanded from the old system which used Microsoft's Excel spreadsheet program.

Hopefully Solaglas are pleased with the work, and the new system gives them more ease in their working life.

Updates

Well, finally as Christmas approaches, and I begin to settle into the new house I have time to do a bit of work with the website, and other background things.

Most recent updates include the Photography page, and a few additions around the site itself, mostly visual enhancements with more to come!

Short and sweet for now, have a good Christmas break to everyone and check back soon for more developments.

Basic Appearance

Well the code is working and fully functional, there are a few other minor bits to finalise tonight.. Maybe a mood variable, the date would be a good addition. Im yet to decide if I want images to show with the blog. I have the ability to currently, but I'm quite certain that they would be useless in a small blog like this.

This blog is using Php, Javscript and SQL to manage behind the scenes and throughput. Next to come will be a fully web based image gallery upload manager, with lots of nice features, and a FCK implementation for a advanced blog, followed by a CMS.

Which is great fun when I have time to do it.. Currently at work waiting for a lift home.. (must fix one of the cars).
